The following notes will help you vote for our u3a in the Co-op Local Causes Scheme
There are 3 ways to choose a cause
1 – The best way is to download the Co-op Membership app onto your Smart phone ( if you have one ) and sign up to be a member if not already. Then click on us as your cause of choice and each time you use it to pay in store we will automatically get a vote.
Open the app and the page it opens at should allow you to scroll down and choose our u3a
(The app will only let you choose a cause within 15 miles of your registered home address so anyone who lives further afield will need to use one of the other ways)
On a side note the app allows you to choose special offers each week using algorithms and in the on the discover tab at the bottom you can complete surveys and enter competitions etc
Please use the other methods if this is not for you. Every vote counts and will reflect in the amount of money we receive.
2 – When you shop at Co-op your receipt will have a phone number on it, call the number and ask to choose a local cause (Local Community Fund cause) they will need your cause number and full name to do this
3 – Register online at Co-op: Homepage - Co-op or sign in if already registered , top right hand corner
Type in search bar – CHOOSE A CAUSE
Click on Local Community Fund
