At present we have over 25 active interest groups which meet at various intervals during each month. New group members and suggestions for new groups are always welcome.

The following groups are looking for members in order to get them off the ground:

Focus on Faith​To explore how different faiths work together and their contributions to the wider society.
Walking GroupLonger walks than our Strollers Group
Photography
Debating, the Speaking Society.Your opportunity to discuss some interesting or fun topics and improve your speaking abilities.
Members will take it in turns to propose and second motions (for or against) and be the Chairperson. 
Remaining group members can speak and vote on the debate.

Example topics:  The world would be better if women were in charge.
Social media is a force for good.
We do not need the internet.
We would be lost without plastic
Literature is more important than Art

These will have sheet displayed at the monthly meeting for members to register their interest by "signing up". Once sufficient members are noted a meeting will be called to arrange for this group to go ahead.

These will no longer have a "signing on sheet" at the monthly meeting.
There will be a sheet with details of that interest group and details are available to take away.
To express your interest in joining the group it is the responsibility of that member to get in touch with the relevant group contact.
